REALTORS^® across Alberta have been struggling with how to engage in the face-to-face elements of their business, while being responsible citizens practicing social distancing, in response to COVID-19.

I hope you’re staying safe and keeping well during this unprecedented global challenge.

I know you’re busy and doing a survey might be the last thing on your mind. However, if you want to encourage change and put your opinion on the record, this is your opportunity. 

Last week, Service Alberta Minister Nate Glubish introduced legislation that will empower him to appoint an official administrator and replace RECA’s entire board. 

A short while ago (last Wednesday, Sept. 4), AREA sent out a survey to all members across the province asking about the future of Alberta REALTOR^® boards and associations.

Last week, AREA issued a call to action to every REALTOR^® in the province asking that they complete a short survey regarding the RECA advertising guideline changes. This is very important, so please take a few seconds to answer the three-question survey and urge other REALTORS^® to do the same.

As someone who sold real estate for over 26 years, I started to recognize how my psyche would cycle around market cycles.
