The Canadian Real Estate Association’s (CREA) Open Forum and Annual General Meeting will take place on Apr. 14, 2026, in Ottawa, Ontario. 

Nominations close tomorrow (Wednesday, March 11) at 4 p.m. for the 2026 CREB® Board By-election. We encourage all interested members to consider stepping forward.

CREA has announced the names of members who stand for election to their Board of Directors.

As my term as the first public director of CREB® concludes, I want to sincerely thank the members for the opportunity to serve. 
As we launch into by-election nominations, we wanted to take an opportunity to notify members of an issue that was identified and corrected in regard to bylaw 6.9 – Vacancies.

Nominations open March 4 for the by-election that will be held on March 25.

Calgary continued to see market conditions vary by property type in February. The tightest conditions occurred in detached and semi-detached properties, reporting less than three months of supply. Row homes reported slightly higher supply levels relative to demand but remained relatively balanced.
