The City of Calgary has reached out with an update on its Home Energy Label Program.

Over the past several weeks, there have been several concerning developments involving CREA with their approach to managing technology and their apparent desire to be more involved in the transaction process.

The results are in, and CREB®’s ninth board of directors member has been decided by the membership!

At the AGM on April 20, 2023, a member suggested that a legal proceeding she was involved in with the REALTORS® Association of Edmonton a few years ago was relevant to CREB®’s decision not to place a motion from a member on the AGM agenda.

Julia St Louis was the recipient of CREB®’s Karen Gammie Graduate Scholarship in 2023.

Nominations are in – and so are the candidate profiles for the 2023 Board of Directors by-election.

In last week’s CREB® Chat, I discussed how our bylaws establish the Board of Directors' role as the organization's stewards on behalf of its members. 

The regularly scheduled March 28 board of directors meeting came shortly after the March 15 Special General Meeting, which provided some time to think about the historic decision members made.
