When David Frid was eleven, his mother encouraged him to make a positive impact. To do so, he began volunteering at the YMCA and hasn’t stopped since then. 

After a 26-year career in the banking industry and moving across the country, Dick Brown decided to settle down in Calgary and become a REALTOR®.  That was in 1981 when the real estate market in the city had a downward trend that lasted five years, so even though it wasn’t easy at the start, Brown didn’t give up.  

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and support Calgarians in need of affordable homeownership at Habitat for Humanity’s Southern Alberta Build Day on July 19.
