In November 2021, a reciprocal agreement for SentriLock was established between CREB® and Alberta West REALTORS® Association (AWRA, based in Hinton) as well as the REALTORS® Association of Lloydminster and District (RALD), to facilitate Pillar 9™’s implementation of the SentriKey Showing Service.

Earlier this year, the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) announced changes to the Residential Measurement Standard (RMS) guidelines, including the introduction of a new Below Grade Measurement Standard (BGMS).

In an effort to enhance clarity and provide our members with a clearer understanding of expectations, we are in the process of updating and amending the CREB® rules effective Jan. 4, 2024. 

With the provincial government signalling the conclusion of the pandemic status by lifting community health and safety protocols, stakeholders in the real estate sector, including sellers, buyers, occupants, and agents, are increasingly at ease with accommodating property showings.

Members will receive their CREB® and CREA annual dues statement in the next few weeks.

A fraudster has been contacting REALTORS® claiming to be from ENMAX and threatening power disconnection if a payment is not received. Please know that this is a scam.

As part of CREB®'s ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our membership, we are reaching out to you for your valuable input.
Due to low turnout at all the in-person and virtual sessions (27, seven, four, and eight at the four town halls), no additional town hall meetings will be scheduled on the CREB® Campus.

CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation has awarded a total of $75,000 for this year’s Transformation Grants to Accessible Housing Society, Calgary Drop-In and Rehab Centre Society, Unison at Kerby Centre, Rocky View Foundation, and McMan Youth, Family and Community Services.
