We’re obviously kidding, the infamous street magician didn’t show up, nor did anyone levitate, but we did take a page out of David Blaine’s arsenal to elevate our performance at this year’s AGM.
From the exhibitor expo to the keynote presentation from guest speaker Jim Dewald, it was more than just your run of the mill meeting—and that's without even covering the business updates and member recognition moments.
Check out a few of the highlights below with links to all things AGM.
Jim Dewald's presentation
Entrepreneurial expert and dean of the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business, Jim Dewald, took us on a walk through history to verify the health and long-term viability of real estate.
He then capped off his keynote with an update on the new Real Estate Studies Degree program that will be launching at the university.
Jim Dewald's book, Achieving Longevity: How Great Firms Prosper Through Entrepreneurial Thinking, can be purchased at Indigo or through the University of Toronto Press.
