Two heads are better than one 

This year, we’re doubling down. The ROARs will be hosted by two hilarious local comedians, Graham Neil and Donovan Workun. 

Neil is a 20-year broadcasting vet and stand-up comedian. Throughout his career, Neil has worked with big-time comics like Rob Schneider, Martin Short, Gilbert Gottfried and Jay Pharaoh (Saturday Night Live). 

Workun, a three-time World Improv Champion with over 25 years of comedy under his belt, is considered the leading improv teacher in Alberta. He’s shared the stage with celebrities such as Wayne Brady (Whose Line Is It Anyways?), Mike Myers (SNL & Austin Powers) and is the star of the hit national CBC radio program, The Irrelevant Show.

It’s always better fresh

The celebration event has a new home for 2017. While TELUS Spark was a great venue for the past two years, we’ll be changing our venue to the sleeker art deco atmosphere at Hotel Arts. 

The modern and contemporary setting is sure to provide an extraordinary experience.
