Nearly four months have passed since we switched our commercial MLS^® System from MLXchange to Matrix™. Since then, our team has been working with members to ensure listings are meeting the new guidelines for data structure.

We have received mixed reviews about the system, as you would come to expect from a significant change such as this. As we are always driving to enhance our systems in order to improve functionality and experience for members, all input, regardless of whether it’s positive or negative, is appreciated.

That’s why we’re providing you the opportunity to reflect on what’s working with the system, and what can be enhanced. This is an opportunity to discuss your ideas with other forum participants, and share perspectives about issues and enhancements. Our IT team will outline technology constraints and opportunities, and CREB^® chief economist Ann-Marie Lurie will help explain data integrity and statistical requirements.

There are no bad ideas and your feedback will be gathered and shared with a group of subject matter experts involved in the project at their retrospective meeting at the end of the month.

We see the MLS^® System as an evolving tool, enhanced by new technology, trends and opportunities for improvement. The only way for us to continually improve is to get member input and suggestions.
