In an effort to elevate the Inquiry Committee Tribunal and ensure CREB® remains a leader in administrative justice processes, a number of CREB® Rules have been amended.
The revisions, specifically PART V, Administrative Justice, reflect changes that came as a result of legal opinion and member experience. While they are not fundamentally different from the existing set of rules, the changes do reflect best practices in tribunal administration, while considering case law and regulatory compliance.On a high level, the basic changes include consistency in terminology, standardization and removing of rule overlap. The updates are in effect as of March 17.
