Your inner circle is bigger than you think. The CIBS board team is working hard to make sure every CREB® member is supported in their greatest time of need.
We want to ensure members know how to reach out and feel comfortable to do so, which is why we’re upping member awareness on this important topic. Here are some key details about the program:
Support when you need it
The Critical Illness Benefit Society (CIBS) provides a one-time, lump-sum, tax-free benefit of $12,500 to CREB® members diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Members will receive their payment on approved claims 10 to 15 working days from the time a claim is submitted. The benefit claims form is accessible to all CREB® members in good standing.
Commitment to confidentiality
The claims process is easy and confidential.
All claims are handled by GroupSource, a professional third-party administrator. The identity of recipients is protected and CREB® will never release the identity of any individuals without their expressed consent.
Help us spread the word
Members have two years from the date of diagnosis to submit a claim. That’s why member awareness about this benefit is so important! Please help spread the word to your fellow CREB® members by sharing this brochure.
