Forget surviving on an island or having big brother watch you. If you’ve dreamed of being on reality television, here is your chance!

CREB^® was recently contacted by a production company called Entertainment One, based out of Vancouver. They are exploring a show idea for CBC national, which would tell stories of individuals who have decided to sell their house in the city and pursue their rural dreams.  

What they’re after:

• Members with clients who have made significant career changes;
• Clients who are moving to start a business that would result in an interesting change or development in their livelihood—something that likely wouldn’t be possible if they stayed in the city, due to lifestyle or money; and
• Stories of individuals who are currently in transition from urban to rural, or will be making that kind of shift in the next 12 months.

Something to remember:

• This search for stories is still in the research stage;
• There isn’t a guarantee that the show will be picked up by CBC; and
• CREB^® is not involved with the show directly, but wanted to share this interesting opportunity with members.
