New supplements and naming features have launched in Matrix™. Now, you'll be able to better organize documents in your listings, including Residential Measurement Standards (RMS).
Mandatory measurement supplement
Five additional supplement sections are now available to accommodate for uploading mandatory RMS measurements.
Starting Feb. 1, 2018, RMS measurements (or in the case of judicial sales, a copy of the court order stating no property access is permitted) must be uploaded in a measurement supplement to activate a listing on the MLS® System.
This implementation will give members line of sight to measurements on file for any given listing.
Please note, the supplement will require members to document all measurement calculations and relevant notes including the address, associate name and measurement date for all listings.
Identifying supplements
Drop-down name options have been added so you can easily identify different supplements. Selections include:
- Measurements (RMS)
- Appraisal
- Condo Documents
- Environmental Reports
- Judicial Order
- Permits/Development applications
- Plans/Blue prints
- Real Property Report (RPR)
- Schedule
- Title
- Other
We encourage you to start using the measurement supplement on your listings to prepare for the mandatory implementation date on Feb. 1, 2018.
If you need more information on the measurement standards, you can find it by visiting RECA's RMS FAQ page.
Questions about RMS compliance under CREB® Rules can be directed to mp@creb.ca or 403-781-1336.
