CREB®Now gets big bump in new StarMetro Calgary

Following CREB®Now’s exciting debut in the Friday edition of Metro, the momentum and attention continues with an exciting brand change for the papers’ printer and distributor.

As of Apr. 10, Metro Calgary has been rebranded as StarMetro Calgary, as Metro’s parent company, Torstar Corporation, has merged the Metro and Toronto Star brands, combining Metro’s market success with the Toronto Star’s outstanding journalistic reputation and online presence.

This change will create a consistent print and online experience that will deliver news and content to Calgarians, tailored to their individual viewing preferences. This will more than double the number of StarMetro journalists in Calgary, further cementing their local reach and investigative power.

These changes will come as fantastic news for CREB®Now advertisers. While the move to Calgary’s number one weekday newspaper has already expanded the marketing reach, distribution and value of CREB®Now, their brand will now be associated with a national product that is highly credible and increasingly focused on local content.

The shift to StarMetro will also bring the power of thestar.com to StarMetro’s first-party data collected from online readers will further enrich target audience profiles to ensure that our advertisers are reaching their preferred home buyers and sellers.

Make sure to grab a copy of the new StarMetro today, and check out CREB®Now’s features on new Calgary communities!
