To ensure continued compliance with measurement requirements, CREB® will continue to audit listings in Matrix™. Before you activate a residential listing, please ensure your residential listings follow the measurement supplement guidelines below:
- When using Builder plans/blue prints in accordance with the RMS, the applied RMS dimensions to those builder plans/blue prints must still be included;
- An RPR is not to be used as a substitute for the RMS measurement supplements;
- Court Orders may be uploaded in place of the RMS measurement supplements only if the order states that the property cannot be accessed;
- All measurement calculations (a sketch is great, but not required) and relevant notes must be documented in the measurement supplement; and
- RMS measurement supplements must include the property address, associate name and measurement date for each listing.
Please note, you must still input property measurements on the listing itself. Uploading measurements to a supplement is an additional requirement and does not replace this need.
As a reminder, non-compliance may result in a possible sanction to the member and the withdrawal of any listing not in compliance.
