On Nov. 5 CREB® is launching a new change management system on the CREB®Tools Portal.
The change management process is a new tool developed by the IT team that will track technology requests and suggestions but will also include change requests to CREB®’s systems and policies.
This is an example of CREB® following its strategic plan of continually enriching the member experience while supporting CREB®’s strategic goal of maximizing excellence in technology by adhering to a structured and timely request for change processes.
The purpose of this process is to ensure system changes are vetted through a rigorous change management process which will include vetting by a change advisory board. The goal is to create an efficient appeal process with an emphasis on scheduled releases.
Background
CREB® formerly hosted a technology standing committee that would meet to manage, discuss and track technology requests made by CREB® members.
The technology standing committee no longer exists but CREB® still receives requests, suggestions and change requests from members.
In response CREB® has created a new process for members and staff to submit change requests.
Watch for this new process/tool to be available on Nov. 5 through the CREB®Tools Portal.
