Facts over fiction

By CREB®
The Supreme Court of Canada recently upheld its decision around the kind of data that Virtual Office Websites (VOWs) can access. So, does this mean all sales history is now public? No!

A VOW is a password protected site, not an advertising vehicle. Sales history cannot be advertised in Alberta without consent.

CREB® is reaching out to clarify facts over fiction—not only with members, but also with the news media to correct any potential misinformation.

Please take a few moments to review CREB®’s infographic on this topic, which was vetted through CREA and our own Member Practice team for accuracy.

If you wish, please feel free to circulate the infographic with your clients.
