CREB®Now print retirement

By CREB®

The COVID-19 situation is presenting a large-scale challenge in how CREB®Now operates during the crisis.

While there were lots of very positive steps to enhance profitability of the publication this year, the COVID-19 situation had immediate financial impacts that aren’t something we can overcome in the near term.

This is the harsh reality that many publications are facing globally and CREB®Now was not an exception.

The last print issue will be April 26, 2020. However, we understand readers will still be hungry for content related to the home-buying and home-selling experience in Calgary, well after the print closure. This is why we’re working to continue to beef up crebnow.com.

Moving forward, content will still be added frequently to crebnow.com for you to share with your clients. We would like to thank all of our advertisers, past and present, throughout the years and invite you to explore our digital options that will keep evolving.

Since 1984, the newspaper has been a part of the city’s news community and this decision was not made lightly. However, please know that our efforts to enhance the REALTOR® brand will continue with a much greater emphasis on crebnow.com.

There are also some members who are currently engaged in campaigns with the publication. Rest assured, we will be reaching out to those affected by this change in the coming days to amend your campaigns.
