I hope you’re staying safe and keeping well during this unprecedented global challenge.
As we manage through these uncertain times, I want to assure you that CREB® is taking aggressive steps to deploy our business continuity plan in response to the COVID-19 situation.
Our top priority is the health and well-being of CREB® members and staff.
We are all in uncharted territory and the concern is real. This is why we’ve reacted quickly to communicate with members and produce our information hub on all things COVID-19 via CREB®Link, which we hope adds value for members in the flurry of available information and news.
On the external side, we updated creb.com and have key messaging prepared, so the public understands how CREB® is working to support REALTORS® and housing consumers.
This situation is scary and deeply concerning for all CREB® members and staff, which goes to the heart of my message to you today. We are taking aggressive steps by following the guidance of a variety of agencies, while working to balance our response against CREB®’s business needs and our overriding commitment to you.
For us, this means taking the next step to move toward an orderly remote deployment of all CREB® staff, starting Wednesday, March 18 and concluding Friday, March 20.
It’s business as unusual . . .
Working remote still means working, for all of us – it just looks and feels a little different.
If you need to see us for something that cannot be done remotely, effective Monday, March 23, we’d be happy to help by appointment only, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

We are still here and have you covered:
- MLS® System continues to be available as do all other technology tools;
- HelpDesk is operational, on the line and ready to take your calls;
- You can continue to make account payments online.

All our committee meetings as well as our April 23 AGM are moving to the online environment. Member events are under review, with some being cancelled, such as this weeks Broker Summit and others to be rescheduled.
Watch for updates on future events and any other adjustments to rules and/or processes to assist the changes that this situation is driving for your business environment.
We appreciate the suggestions that we have been receiving and will continue to actively work with our stakeholders to support you in anyway we can.
And, as a point of clarification, please note that the timeline for how long we will restrict access to our building is indeterminate, for now. Please just know that we are here, so keep reaching out and stay tuned to CREB® channels for regular updates.
Please also watch for an announcement coming very soon on an annual dues reset program we are finalizing.
