Vaccine ramp-up
Over the past week, Alberta rolled through the final steps of Phase 2B and into Phase 2C of its COVID-19 vaccination program.
Phase 2B
As of April 7, Albertans born in 2005 with eligible underlying health conditions, can now book an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Phase 2C
As of April 12, Front-line healthcare workers in Phase 2C can now book a vaccine appointment at participating pharmacies or through Alberta Health Services (online or 811).

All other groups in Phase 2C will become eligible in the coming weeks.
Are you currently eligible?
Everyone in the following age groups can get vaccinated now:
- Age 65+
- Age 55-64 for the AstraZeneca vaccine
- Age 50+ for First Nations, Metis and Inuit people
- Age 16+ with eligible chronic health conditions
