The Critical Illness Benefit Society’s (CIBS) board of directors invites you to CREB®'s AGM livestream on Thursday, April 22, where a motion will be put forward to increase the claim submission time for members.
Approval of the proposed bylaw at the 2021 AGM would allow CIBS claims to be made and considered within two years’ time instead of one year.
This revision would provide additional time for members to prepare and apply for the CIBS benefit, as one year can be too restrictive. Claims would be considered for entitlement if notice of the claim is received by the society within two years of diagnosis.

As a reminder, all CREB® members can fully participate in voting. Members who join the AGM livestream will be able to vote and submit comments online.
