Pending listings

By CREB®

Managing your pending listings just got easier!

Keeping your listings up to date is important. To help, Pillar 9™ has implemented a new feature requested by CREB® that notifies members of their overdue pending listings. These notices will appear in Matrix™ under News and Alerts. You can also quickly access your overdue pending listings under My Overdue Pending Listings, which is found in My Listings.

As a reminder, CREB® Rule Part I - 4.02(a) states:

“Straight sales and confirmations shall be reported to CREB® by the Listing Brokerage. At the time of acceptance all conditional sales must be reported as Pending on the MLS® System, unless instructed by the seller in writing to maintain the listing in Active status. The final selling price of all MLS® sales must be reported to CREB®. If the Listing Brokerage fails to report the final selling price to CREB®, the Buyer’s Brokerage Representative shall report the final selling price. The Listing Brokerage may then be charged under the CREB® Rules, Part I, 4.02(a) for failing to report the sale information. (Please also refer to Part III Provincial MLS® Rules, Section 6 on “Reporting of Sales of MLS® Listings” for further CREB® Member obligations)

a. The Member shall ensure that their sales have been accurately reported within two (2) business days.”
