This closure extends to all of CREB®, including the Member Services Centre and Help Desk. Pillar 9™'s Help Desk will also be closed. We hope you join us in remembrance by attending one of the many online and in-person ceremonies happening around the city:
Field of Crosses
Those wishing to pay their respects at Calgary’s Field of Crosses (200 Memorial Dr. N.W.) can do so from Nov. 1 – 11. There will also be a virtual service broadcast by Global Calgary at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 11. Those visiting in person should note that the area will be closed to the public from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Remembrance Day.
The Military Museums
Calgary’s Military Museums (4520 Crowchild Tr. S.W.) will be hosting both virtual and in-person Remembrance Day ceremonies, opening its doors to the public after the Remembrance Day service at noon and closing at 6 p.m. Admission to the museum will not require advance booking and will be by donation. The museum is not accepting food bank donations this year.
For those unable to attend, they will also be hosting a virtual event, which will be live-streamed on their Facebook page beginning at 10:20 a.m.
Remembrance Day Union Cemetery Tour
Calgary Parks is hosting a guided walking tour with a focus on the military history of the city and the people who fought in the First and Second World Wars. The free, 90-minute tour starts at the Galloway House in the Union Cemetery (Spiller Road and Cemetery Road S.E.) on Nov. 11.
