Think local, deliver exceptional value, and support member success. These are some of the key themes that emerged at CREB®’s strategic refresh session this spring.
The foundation for CREB®'s high-performance success is our comprehensive strategic plan, which establishes priorities that will guide our organizational decision-making and investments.
In each year of our strategic plan, CREB®'s board of directors and staff leadership team come together to review plan progress, refresh our environmental scan, and determine whether changes to our strategy are required to better respond to our environment.
At our session this spring, some key changes to our environment were identified including lifted public health measures, market acceleration (record high housing sales activity), and a rapid growth in CREB® membership.
With these factors at play, the board’s exclusive focus is set on CREB® members and priorities that grow their profitability and membership value. With that in mind, updates have been made to the strategic plan to reflect our focus to:
- Support CREB® member profitability, professional expertise, and value to consumers;
- Shift our efforts away from One Alberta Membership and look inward to enhance membership value at the local board level;
- Provide members with the best tools, knowledge, and resources to achieve success in their business and deliver exceptional value; and
- Achieve continued growth in CREB® member satisfaction.
Our updated 2022-2025 strategic plan reflects these updates but maintains our vision and mission to empower our diverse community of CREB® REALTORS® to deliver exceptional value to real estate consumers.
