Get ready to run

CREB®’s election season will be here before we know it, and we are looking for new volunteer leaders to fill various governance roles.

If you are a critical thinker with experience in planning and policy making, and if you possess good judgment and outstanding integrity, we encourage you to consider the following positions: 

  • CREB® Board of Directors;
  • CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation Board of Governors;
  • Critical Illness Benefit Society Board of Directors; and
  • Numerous standing committees.

To serve on the board, candidates must:

  • Be a CREB® member in good standing;
  • Complete Leadership 100, 200 & 300;
  • Not have been subject to RECA or CREB® penalty in the last 24 months;
  • Self-nominate or be nominated by a member; and
  • Be elected by CREB® members.

The first step and prerequisite to joining the board is taking CREA’s Leadership 200 & 300 courses. They can fill up fast so click here to register for the upcoming sessions on May 31 and June 2 (please note, Oct. 11 and Oct. 13 dates are also available).
