In honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, CREB® will be closed on Friday, Sept. 30 to observe this federal statutory holiday.
The closure will extend to all of CREB®, including Member Support and the Member Services Centre. CREB® Member Support will reopen on Saturday, Oct. 1 with regular business hours.
Acknowledging this day is a purposeful step towards advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism, as outlined in our 2022-2025 Strategic Plan.
About the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is intended to commemorate the painful history of the residential school system, honoring those who were lost as well as the survivors. This may present itself as a day of quiet reflection or participation in a community event.
The City of Calgary encourages everyone to wear orange on Sept. 30 in remembrance, and join them to commemorate Indian residential school victims, honour survivors and their families and commit to acting on reconciliation during their Orange Shirt Day 2022 event.
