A fraudster has been contacting REALTORS® claiming to be from ENMAX and threatening power disconnection if a payment is not received. Please know that this is a scam.
Power cannot be cut off without a fair warning and a process.
ENMAX does not take credit card payments over the phone – this includes pre-paid credit cards. Other 'loan' type payment options such as MoneyMart are also not accepted.
