It was disappointing for our members to learn of CREA’s plans for REALTOR.ca in recent articles in REM and Inman.

At this point in time, CREB^® has not been provided with comprehensive details about CREA’s plans for REALTOR.ca. Although we recognize there are likely many exciting elements in the plan, CREB^®'s expectation is for immediate and transparent consultation with boards and associations. This means a real opportunity for actionable feedback and ultimately a democratic vote from the floor at the CREA’s AGM in April 2022.

Please know that we are actively working to learn more. We also join in calls for board and association leadership to be meaningfully engaged in formulating a plan for the future of REALTOR.ca. Your leadership team will continue to lean in to ensure CREB^® member interests are well served and that you are well informed on the impacts of this vital business tool.
