The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) has launched a national fundraising campaign to support the Canadian Red Cross' 2023 Alberta Fires Appeal.
As you may already know, Alberta has declared a State of Emergency due to the ongoing wildfires in the northern part of the province. These fires have impacted thousands of people, with many communities on evacuation orders or alerts.
To help spread the word about this campaign, CREA is seeking stories of Albertan REALTORS® who are making a difference in their communities. They want to hear from those who are lending a helping hand to those in need or who have been impacted by the disaster themselves.
These stories will help to rally the REALTOR® community across Canada to support Alberta. We encourage you to send your story submissions to communications@creb.ca. Your stories may be shared with the wider community to inspire others to support the relief efforts.
In addition to sharing your stories, we encourage all members to consider donating to the Canadian Red Cross' relief efforts on the ground. Tax-receipted donations can be made on the REALTORS Care® fundraising page.
CREA would appreciate your help spreading the word about their campaign to encourage donations and amplify the message that Canadian REALTORS® are here to help their friends in Alberta in their time of need. Please visit the REALTORS Care® Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to find content you can easily share with your social networks.
Let's come together as a community to support those impacted by the wildfires in Alberta. Our support, no matter how big or small, can make a difference in the lives of those affected.
Thank you for your continued generosity and for showing the world REALTORS Care®.
