Nominate your candidate: CREB® board of directors by-election

Nominations for the director by-election open this week. This by-election was called to fill a vacant position on the board of directors. 

Following the resignation of Rob Campbell, effective January 1, 2024, the board has initiated plans to ensure continued representation and leadership within the organization.

Rob Campbell, a dedicated board member, tendered his resignation in light of compliance with CREB® bylaws, which restrict the number of directors from a single brokerage to maintain diversity and fair representation.

The upcoming by-election presents an opportunity for members to actively participate in shaping the future direction of CREB®. Here are the essential details:

  • Nominations open: February 8, 9 a.m. (MST) - Click here to nominate a member
  • Nominations close: February 15, 4 p.m. (MST)
  • Candidate page opens: February 22, 9 a.m. (MST)
  • By-election voting period: February 28, 4 p.m. to February 29, 4 p.m. (MST)

During the by-election, members can review candidate profiles and make informed decisions regarding their preferred representation on the board. The successful candidate will assume office immediately, serving until December 31, 2025.

CREB® encourages all eligible members to consider nominating candidates or participating in voting to ensure robust representation and effective leadership within the organization. Your engagement is vital in shaping the future of CREB® and advancing the interests of its diverse membership.
