CREB® will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11 to commemorate Remembrance Day.
This closure extends to all of CREB®, including the Member Services Centre and CREB® Member Support. The Pillar 9 Help Desk will also be closed.
CREB® will reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 12 with regular office hours.
Several events are taking place in the city to commemorate this important date, but those who are unable to attend ceremonies can remember and honour the brave individuals who served Canada through different activities such as:
- Wearing a poppy
- Pausing for two minutes of silence at 11:00 a.m. on November 11.
- Listening to interviews with Veterans in the First World War Audio Archives.
- Watching Learning Videos and "Heroes Remember" Mini-Documentaries about the First World War, Second World War and the Korean War.
- Reading the poem In Flanders Fields and about Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, who wrote it.
