What is the PSAT?
Members appointed to the PSAT will participate in our Administrative Justice Process to support CREB®’s focus on enhancing professional standards and promoting high standards and professional competence. Members appointed to the PSAT will work with the Member Practice department to uphold industry professional standards.
What does the PSAT do?
By promoting CREB®’s philosophy and values, ensuring quality in all areas and encouraging teamwork, PSAT members will investigate complaints brought forth by CREB® and CREB® members related to matters within the scope of CREB® Rules, Bylaws, and the REALTOR® Code. They also hear matters that come before a hearing panel and arbitration panel and render decisions, penalties, and awards with respect to the same.
How can I get involved?
Applications for the 2025 PSAT are open until Friday, Nov. 29. We would like to invite CREB® members who have a passion for the industry and want to improve the professional image of REALTORS® to apply!
Qualifications:
• Must be active in the industry
• Must be a member in good standing for two or more years
• Must not have been found guilty of violating any rule(s) or been issued sanctions by another Alberta real estate board or association administrative justice tribunal
• Must not have had a RECA license suspension
• Can not be a current CREB® or AREA Board Director
• Can not be a current RECA Board Director or Industry Council Member
