Thank you to everyone who took part in the measurement standards survey earlier this year, conducted in partnership with the Real Estate Board of Edmonton. We're pleased to share that we received a response from 1,772 CREB^® members, exceeding our target. Your participation and thoughtful insights are deeply appreciated.

The results clearly indicate that measurement standards remain a priority and continue to provide value to CREB^® members. In fact, 80% of CREB^® respondents said they were very familiar or familiar with the current measurement standards.

Key highlights from the survey

• 80% of CREB^® respondents strongly agree (44%) or agree (36%) that measurement standards should be enforceable; and
• 88% of CREB^® respondents strongly agree (58%) or agree (30%) that standardized measurement practices benefit the industry.

Next steps

We look forward to a province-wide discussion on how the measurement standard and its enforcement can be enhanced to ensure continued data integrity for CREB^® members. Your feedback has been invaluable, and we’re now moving into the next phase of this work.
