Nominations for the Board of Directors election are open until Oct. 24. Your nominations are important to help build a strong board of member leaders who want to make a real impact and have a vision for the future of CREB^®.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Exceptional critical thinking skills;

• Experience in planning and policy-making;

• A desire to make a positive difference; and

• Sound judgment and integrity.

To run in the election, candidates must:

• Be a CREB^® member in good standing;

• Complete Leadership 100, 200 & 300;

• Not have been subject to RECA or CREB^® penalty in the last 24 months;

• Self-nominate or be nominated by a member; and

• Be elected by CREB^® members.

2025 board elections schedule

• Oct. 17, 2024 - Nominations opened at 9 a.m.

• Oct. 24, 2024 - Nominations close at 4 p.m.

• Oct. 31, 2024 - Candidates page go live at 9 a.m.

• Nov. 14, 2024 - Voting opens at 3 p.m.

• Nov. 15, 2024 - Voting closes at 3 p.m. (results posted at 4 p.m.)

Please note we have made an adjustment to the voting period for the 2025 CREB^® board elections. Starting this year, voting will commence at 3 p.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. the following day.

This slight shift allows for an earlier start, providing additional time for candidate and member interaction during the initial hours of voting—traditionally, when most votes are cast.
