This summer, CREA welcomed input from its members on the proposal to turn REALTOR.ca into a separate, taxable wholly-owned subsidiary of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).

Feedback collected through presentations, conversations, online forms, and a membership survey has been consolidated in a report that is now available at CREA.ca/REALTORinc. 

The key themes include: 

1. Support for the guiding principles. 

2. Support for the proposed revenue streams. 

3. Agreement with the “case for change”. 

4. General support for “REALTOR.ca Forward”. 
 
The feedback CREA received has helped inform the REALTOR.ca Task Force and CREA’s Board of Directors on updates to the business case – which will be finalized and shared as part of the Special General Meeting (SGM) package in the coming weeks.
