There are two weeks left to nominate a peer for the 2024 REALTOR® of the Year - T.W.H. (Bill) Saunders Memorial Award.
Created in memory of Thomas William Henry Saunders (1903-1977), this award lives on to inspire REALTORS® to strive for excellence both professionally and in their community. It is one of the most prestigious accolades a member can achieve.
To qualify for the award, nominees must:
- Have a minimum of five continuous years of membership with CREB®.
- Be be or have been involved at the Board Level (committee work for CREB®, AREA, REIX, and RECA are all considered here).
- Live the Golden Rule in real estate: treat others as they would want to be treated, as a true professional.
- Exemplify caring and humanity, not just within our membership, but for the greater community.
- Contribute to the greater community through volunteerism and charity.
Do you have an exceptional REALTOR® in mind? Here are the steps you need to take to nominate someone:
- Visit creblink.com/ROTY to access the nomination form.
- Select an outstanding REALTOR® who should be recognized.
- Select a seconder for the nomination (they must be from a different brokerage than the nominator).
- Provide a brief synopsis of how they embody this recognition.
- Click “submit” to send in the nomination. It will then be reviewed to ensure the nominee meets the criteria.
The award recipient will be announced at the Diamond Gala in June!
