There are two different volunteer opportunities with several spots to fill at Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and L'Arche Calgary.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC)

Now that the renovations are complete, RMHC is looking for 10 volunteers on March 27, to help them move mattresses back into the house. 

This volunteer opportunity will require moving big items, so please ensure you are capable of heavy lifting before you sign up.

• 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• 10 volunteers needed

L'Arche Calgary

Course Marshals are needed to support Run for L'Arche – a fundraising event hosted on April 5, 2025, at Confluence Plaza on St. Patrick's Island (1300 12 St NE, Calgary, AB).

Volunteers are essential to the event's success, and your support is needed!

Volunteer details:

• Saturday, April 5, 2025
• 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• 12 volunteers needed
  

Duties:

• Arrive at your assigned station on time, confirm with the Volunteer Coordinator, and stay until the sweep cyclist clears the course.
• Direct runners along the route and cheer them on.
• Wear visible attire, including your volunteer bib and lanyard.
• Course Marshals can sign up as pairs if they'd like to volunteer with a buddy.
