The CREB^® Board of Directors has called a by-election to fill a vacant director position.

Members can submit their nominations until the nomination window closes at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12.

The 2025 director by-election CREB^®Link page will provide up-to-date information throughout the by-election period.

Your nominations are important to help build a strong board of member leaders who want to make a real impact and have a vision for the future of CREB^®.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Exceptional critical thinking skills;
• Experience in planning and policy-making;
• A desire to make a positive difference; and
• Sound judgment and integrity.

To run in the election, candidates must:

• Be a CREB^® member in good standing;
• Complete Leadership 100, 200, & 300;
• Not have been subject to RECA or CREB^® penalty in the last 24 months;
• Self-nominate or be nominated by a member; and
• Be elected by CREB^® members.

Key by-election dates

• March 5: Nominations open at 9 a.m.
• March 12: Nominations close at 4 p.m.
• March 19: Candidate profiles go live on the CREB®Link page at 9 a.m.
• March 21: Meet-the-candidate event at CREB® Campus (details to come).
• March 26-27: Electronic voting period (voting will commence at 3 p.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. the following day).
