CREB^® will be closed on Monday, Feb. 19, for Family Day, with regular hours resuming on Tuesday, Feb. 20. Please note that this closure extends to all of CREB^®, including the Help Desk and Member Services Centre. 

The Prohibition on the Purchase of Residential Property by Non-Canadians Act, effective since Jan. 1, 2023, was extended until the start of 2027 on Feb. 4, 2024. This legislation restricts foreign corporations and non-Canadian citizens from buying residential property in Canada.

January sales rose to 1,650 units, a significant gain over last year's levels and long-term trends. The growth was possible thanks to a rise in new listings totalling 2,137 units in January. New listings rose for homes priced above $300,000, but the largest gains occurred for homes priced above $700,000.
