Expansion of CIBS benefit
During the CREB® Critical Illness Benefit Society’s (CIBS) meeting, the motion was carried to add five critical illness categories to the definitions, expanding the scope of the program to support members in critical need.
Now, the CIBS benefit will provide support for the following critical illnesses:
- Life threatening cancer
- Coronary artery by-pass surgery
- Heart attack
- Kidney failure
- Multiple sclerosis
- Parkinson's Disease
- Stroke
- Major organ Failure
- Bacterial meningitis
- Benign brain tumor
- Heart valve replacement
- Motor neuron disease
